A Closer Look At the “Asbury Revival” Reveals a Gay Agenda is Afoot

Before YouTube censors his video to make it disappear, you should probably take a look at Caleb Corneloup’s 17-minute video below. Caleb is an evangelical out of Australia who runs the “iThink Biblically” YouTube channel. In his video that he released yesterday, Caleb takes a closer look at who is involved in the so-called “Asbury Revival” and uses their own words to expose that this is an effort to push the politically correct ideas of wokeism, which are anti-biblical. If you recall, several days ago, Christian apologist Alisa Childers released a video warning us not to be so hasty in calling this a revival. She urged Christians to wait and see to spiritually test it more deeply before we rush to promote or join this movement or call it a “revival.” Now the truth behind this false revival is being exposed by genuine Christians like Caleb and others to warn true evangelicals away from promoting it. A significant number of the worship leaders claim to be homosexuals.

As if the gay rights agenda wasn’t concern enough, there are other concerns. For example, according to Thomas D. Williams of Breitbart, it has an ecumenical bent towards validating Roman Catholicism and the false doctrines that go along with it. Laura Levens of Baptist News has noted that this “revival” is “not heavy on preaching” and is, in fact, “preaching averse.” In other words, preaching is avoided. Lack of preaching reminds me of Paul’s words in Romans 10:14-15, “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” Discouraging preaching goes against what godly change is all about. Hence, it raises a red flag about the spiritual legitimacy of this “revival.”
