Dr. David Mackereth, a 26-year veteran of the UK’s NHS, was recently fired for refusing to abide by the UK’s policy of referring to patients by the gender they personally preferred to be called. The policy was implemented “to handle assessments sensitively and adhere to the Equality Act 2010,” said a spokesperson for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Mackereth is not only a doctor, but a Christian. He had hoped to become a medical assessor for the DWP and was going through the training process, starting in May, when he was eventually asked if he would abide by the DWP’s “transgender” policy. It is at that moment he revealed that based on his sincerely held religious beliefs in addition to his medical sciences knowledge of biology and genetics that he would not comply. A short time later he was shown the door.
The doctor said his intent was not to attack anyone in the “transgender” community, “but I am defending my right to freedom of speech and freedom of belief.” He went on to say, “I don’t think I should be compelled to use a specific pronoun. I am not setting out to upset anyone. But if upsetting someone can lead to doctors being sacked, then as a society, we have to examine where we are going.”
The DWP told Mackereth that refusing to use patients’ desired pronouns is considered harassment under the Equality Act. According to that act, it is unlawful to discriminate in one’s speech against a “preferred characteristic,” including gender reassignment cases. By doing so, the law pressures people to lie and deny the truth for the sake of socialist fascists’ feelings as they press forward on the New World Order agenda. An agenda that includes targeting, stifling, marginalizing, then abolishing Christianity from society.
