An Ohio judge stripped parents of the custody of their teen daughter for refusing to allow their daughter to get hormone treatments to pass herself off as a boy. When the case initially started a year ago, Ohio’s family services agency sought custody of the girl after she complained to authorities about her parents. All parties involved thought it best to place her with her maternal grandparents, who have now been awarded permanent custody for expressing their intent to help the girl with her “transition.”
The parents objected to the girl’s intended “change” on the grounds that it was against their religious beliefs. The custody verdict gives us another glimpse of why homosexual liberals are so focused on putting forth the idea that their wants should be superior to other peoples’ rights. There is the typical socialist agenda behind it to break up the influence family has in citizens’ lives to replace familial influence with government control, as was done in the Soviet Union (that’s one reason why there are so many Russian orphans).
Another reason is to trample the sincerely held traditional religious beliefs of Christians for the sake of placing atheist socialist demands above them so government can become God and also to implement all the other immoral habits that accompany atheism. Since teens don’t have life or their feelings figured out yet, this decision is a dangerous precedent to set given the recent trend of “transgender” regret where teens and young adults try to live as the opposite sex only to eventually regret it and reverse the process. The scientific truth of the matter is that gender is immutable, unchangeable since chromosomes are what determine one’s sex, not feelings or outward appearance. But science is only important to liberals when it helps push their agenda. When science opposes their agenda, it is cast aside and vehemently shouted down.
