Transgender group: It’s our duty to change church in our favor

With the backing of the United Methodist Church, LGBT group Reconciling Ministries Network are planning an August conference in Chicago for “transgenders.” They claim to be Christian, of course, but their doctrines are very much anti-Christ.

The purpose of the conference will be ‘leadership development for “ecumenical trans and gender-expansive Christians” to equip them with the tools needed to to go back into the church — and society — to do faith-centered social justice work.’ The term “social justice” is the buzzword for socialist activism, an anti-biblical principal centered around self-centered envy, jealousy, and hatred toward others who are perceived to be enemies, accompanied by divisive strife to bring compulsory cooperation with immoral socialist views. All of this is done as they make it seem as if it’s showing compassion and concern for the downtrodden. Proverbs 6 warns us away from condoning the actions of those who sow discord among brothers and strife is condemned in Galatians 5:20, 1 Timothy 6:3, 4, and James 3:14-16.

One backer of the conference says, “Gender is the language of the soul, expressing the very deepest part of each one of us,” proving they are not scripture-based. Godly knowledge and wisdom are the real language of the soul, according to Proverbs 3:21-22, Jeremiah 6:16, and Matthew 11:29.

In the beginning, God established an unbreakable principle for all humans in that he created them male and female. They can only be one or the other and gender is immutable. Science proves it since gender is determined by unchangeable chromosomes. It’s never based on one’s thoughts or feelings.

Another transgender organizing the conference has said, “It becomes our duty as trans people, as people of color, as immigrants, as folks who are disabled, as folks who are poor, to reclaim the very institution used to cause us, and so many of the people we love, harm.” The true church has always helped the poor and fought racism while resisting those in their midst who attempted to stop them, so this person’s statement is merely about playing the victim. In fact, if one does an internet search on LGBT violence, one will find LGBTs tend to abuse each other more than hateful people outside their communities.

True Christians only use violence as self-defense (including justified national defense), and should not violently target people for being LGBT. Hatred for sin and not sinners is the Christian hallmark. If Christians fail to love sinners, that doesn’t justify promoting more sin in church. Transgenders’ experiences at church are not violent–what Blacks experienced at lunch counters in the Civil Rights Movement.

In the Old Testament, God set the standard that those who condone LGBT behavior are not welcome in his kingdom even if they attend church–

The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God. Deuteronomy 22:5

He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord. Deuteronomy 23:1 (a reference to the practice of pagan temple male prostitutes)

This principle continued in the New Testament when Paul by the Holy Spirit said the effeminate, abusers/defilers of themselves with mankind, women who change their natural use, and whoremongers would all fall under God’s rejection (Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9; 1 Timothy 1:10).

Many churches will give in to their demands, because, as “spiritual prepper” Jake McCandless pointed out recently, the church in America is weak. McCandless believes this weakness is due to the fact that church leaders and their congregants don’t pay attention to Bible prophecy beyond the Mark of the Beast and the geopolitics of the end times. This causes them to miss the constant prophetic warnings that persecution goes along with being a believer. By omitting the persecution clause of Christianity, we fail to mentally and spiritually prepare for it, which can lead to overwhelming discouragement and caving to false doctrine followed by the great falling away.
