Green Party chokes on recount bid in Pennsylvania

As of Saturday, December 3, the Green Party has dropped legal proceedings seeking a statewide recount in Pennsylvania. Having no evidence of any foul play, the party with Jill Stein taking the lead wanted to explore with a recount to see if any votes had not been counted properly. They choked when a judge ordered Jill Stein and her party to pony up a $1 million bond for covering some of the costs that a recount would entail. Unable to raise the funds (not to mention that they missed the legal deadline to call for the recount), Stein’s crew decided to drop the suit in a motion filed today since the $1 million would be due by the end of the day Monday.

However, it remains to be seen if they will actually follow through with dropping the suit since a Democrat benefactor may swoop in at the last minute to see to it that Stein continues her recount campaign shenanigans as the Democratic Party’s flunky/puppet.
