Canadian pediatricians concerned marijuana legalization will harm kids

marijuana-smoker-behind-the-wheelIn 2010, the World Health Organization did a study where they discovered that 30% of Canadian kids had tried marijuana before they were 15. It was the highest rate among kids in all of North America and Europe. Canada is now on the cusp of legalizing the recreational use of cannabis nationally. That has pediatricians there concerned.

The Canadian Paediatric Society is asking the government to put restrictions on marijuana use for kids (if they legalize it) over concerns about the negative effects the drug has on developing brains. They recently released a position paper warning of the risks that young people will abuse it and become dependent on it, that it could double the risk of psychotic illnesses in kids, that it can poison young kids who unknowingly ingest it in their homes when adults don’t store it out of their reach (pointing out what has happened in states like Colorado), and that kids who get behind the wheel of a vehicle after using it jeopardize lives.

They then suggested several ways of keeping marijuana away from kids such as passing an age limit that matches the legal drinking age, diluting the amount of THC in marijuana products sold to people 18-25, and placing warning labels on cannabis products.

Nevertheless, this push for marijuana legalization in various parts of the world fulfills several goals of the New World Order. Big Pharma will see it as another way for them to make billions as they will move to take over cultivating and manufacturing cannabis, globalists believe it’s the perfect way to easily control the masses since so many people will be too doped up to resist their policies and will be easily manipulated to comply with their wishes, and it will help open the door to widespread Satanism and demonic possession that the New World Order loves.

And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries [‘pharmakeia’ (witchcraft, wizardry, magick via drugs)] were all nations deceived. 1. Marijuana is a product that should be treated like beer or wine. Just as a responsible adult should not sit in front of their kids and get wasted on alcohol, neither should they smoke pot in front of their children.

    1. I would go so far as to say they shouldn’t smoke pot at all if they have kids. What has happened in the US is that parents who get high, even when their kids aren’t around (e.g. when kids are in school during the day) have impaired judgment that leads them to store it in places where kids have easy access to it and those kids end up in the hospital sickened by marijuana edibles.

Another concern for easy access to pot through legalization is the fact that pedophiles often seduce minors with it, getting them stoned before they sexually assault them.
