The Moon, or supermoon, is seen rising behind the Soyuz rocket at the Baikonur Cosmodrome launch pad in Kazakhstan, Monday, Nov. 14, 2016. NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson, Russian cosmonaut Oleg Novitskiy of Roscosmos, and ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet will launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan the morning of November 18 (Kazakh time.) All three will spend approximately six months on the orbital complex. A supermoon occurs when the moon’s orbit is closest (perigee) to Earth. Photo Credit: (NASA/Bill Ingalls)

Although many scientists are denying there is a direct connection between the recent Supermoon and intensified seismic activity simply because they claim not to have enough scientific evidence, I believe we have enough of a pattern to conclude that it is highly likely the Supermoon has, in fact, played a part in increased earthquakes around the world recently. We have seen earthquakes intensify in Argentina, Chile, the Dominican Republic, New Zealand, and now Japan. As an added oddity in Japan, the same day of their quake and small tsunamis, a meteorite flashed across the sky in the same area as the massive earthquake.

Earthquakes aren’t the only things occurring more frequently. Volcanic activity has been stirring in Guatemala, Peru (where two volcanoes erupted simultaneously many miles apart for the first time in their recorded history), and Eastern Russia. The latest research proves that full and new moons do trigger intense seismic activity (as displayed between October’s full moon (Oct. 16) and November’s Supermoon), so I find it odd that scientists are skeptical about the Supermoon’s impact given the obvious patterns in recent history.

All of these occurrences, in addition to what is happening on the world stage (especially with Israel), are in line with Bible prophecy about the signs of the times leading up to Christ’s imminent return.

And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. Joel 2:30

And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven. Luke 21:11
