1984’s “thoughtcrime” weeding grows in today’s hiring practices

binoculars-spyingThe days of 1984’s thoughtcrime have arrived, thanks to organizations that are embracing the socialist/liberal, globalist view of the world where the Constitution and the human rights of freedom of expression, religion, and association are all despised. As organizations claim they like applicants and employees who have a social media presence, 43% of them are looking for ways to potentially use applicants’ social media presence to determine if they should hire them.

Among the 43% who are screening applicants based on what they say on social media, a 2016 study conducted by the Society for Human Resource Management shows that over 33% have admitted to turning down applicants based on that information. To cut down on the time it would take to scour the Internet for public posts, HR managers are increasingly hiring tech companies who use sophisticated algorithms to do the searching for them. You would think that they would be searching for vices such as alcohol or drug abuse in their searches. However, the CEO of tech company Fama Technologies who does searches for companies says the companies who use their services are mainly looking for “thoughtcrime”–people expressing views they consider socially unacceptable according to their opinions on what they think is bullying, misogyny, or bigotry. Often the definitions for those terms in the corporate world “newspeak” include any expressions criticizing homosexuality, Islam, or taking a stance on gender roles.

Fama admits that HR managers could develop “unconscious biases” (aka implicit bias) when they get the results of such searches (e.g., religious biases), but claims their company only gives those managers the links to applicants’ public posts without any recommendations on how to proceed. That is allegedly how they and the companies who hire them keep away from violating the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Thus, society moves ever closer to the days of the globalist, authoritarian Antichrist and the minions who look to prop him up in their New World Order global governance as they target any critics or dissenters, just as the Bible prophesies. At this rate, it will be only a matter of time before people in America will spy and inform on each other for personal gain, just as the prophet Micah and Jesus himself prophesied (Micah 7:5-6).
