ISIS sympathizer in Michigan threatens church, pleads guilty on gun charges

635965931950719932-khalil-abu-rayyan-photo-jail22-yr-old Khalil Abu-Rayyan of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, pleaded guilty on September 13 to misrepresenting himself to obtain a firearm and illegal possession of a firearm. He’s been in jail since February and his sentencing will be in January 2017. Authorities did not bring terrorism charges against him despite his history of making terroristic threats against a local church and local police and openly admitting he represented the Islamic State. He can get up to 10 years in prison.

This once again highlights the necessity for Christians to be prayerful and to “walk circumspectly,” being aware of the times we live in.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1 Pet. 5:8
