Signs of the times continue to unfold as we get closer to the Lord’s rapture of his church and the world’s welcoming of the Antichrist. Some prominent evangelicals have expressed their endorsements for Pope Francis’s efforts to push all churches toward one world religion in the grip of the Roman Catholic Church.

Prior to the Pope’s recent visit to South America where he met with several evangelicals, especially Pentecostals, for the sake of the ecumenical false ‘unity’, worship leaders Darlene Zschech and Don Moen (whose praise and worship songs are sung regularly in some churches every week) gathered in Rome at St. Peter’s Basilica to meet the Pope for the Vatican’s “Renewal of the Holy Spirit” rally. Zschech exuberantly proclaimed in a FB post that they were all gathered for “a celebration of unity and peace in the Renewal of the Holy Spirit. Amazing days for the Body of Christ.”

What’s really amazing is that “leaders” such as Zschech and Moen have disregarded 1 John 4:1, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” And the Pope is one of the biggest false prophets walking on the Earth today.

Zschech and Moen have added their names to a very long list of evangelicals content with being deceived by the RCC. We can expect to see lying signs and wonders coming out of Latin American charismatic churches to be joined with other lying charismatic signs and wonders around the globe now that the Pope met with some of them on his trip to seduce them into being on the same page with him. It’s all par for the course and falls right in line with Jesus’ prophecies concerning these last days.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matthew 24:24

I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. …He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight. Psalm 101:3, 7
