In May 2014, 78-yr-old pastor James McConnell of Northern Ireland gave a sermon criticizing the government of the UK for kowtowing to the demands of Muslims. He then proceeded to criticize Islam as a Satanic religion spawned in hell because of how they treated Christians such as Meriam Ibrahim.Pastor James McConnell, Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle

When word of the sermon got out, the authorities in Northern Ireland began an investigation into the pastor for potentially committing a hate crime. A government minister released a statement condemning the pastor’s remarks as worthy of condemnation “in the strongest possible terms.”

Police questioned McConnell about the sermon, then offered him a plea deal, which he turned down. That incident and the fact the sermon was later uploaded to the Internet are what prompted prosecutors to now place McConnell on trial for carrying out his God-given rights to free speech and freedom of religion.

Meanwhile, an assistant pastor at the same church resigned when McConnell refused to retract his statements on Islam. John McCreedy was offended by the words and believes the church should be accepting of all religious views. Except, of course, the correct view that all religions are of the devil unless they lift up Jesus as the only true way to God.

Sharia has now officially come to Northern Ireland and this is a preview of what is headed to North America if we continue to allow the Muslim Brotherhood and its offshoots to sway politicians, activists, pundits, and phony religious leaders in the halls of power.

But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. Mark 13:9
