The Roman Catholic priesthood seems to continually be a magnet for scandals. While it’s class on exorcism continues to rise in popularity, it seems to be unable to exorcise the devils wreaking havoc among the priestly ranks. The separate cases of two priests in Italy have once again proven how accurate the book of Revelation is in describing Rome as the harlot in scarlet (MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS), Rev. 17.
One case takes place in northern Italy while the other is in southern Italy. In the northern case, a 50-year-old priest befriends a 32-year-old man online and as they become close, the priest confides in the young man about his ungodly sexual escapades that often begin via the Internet. The young man allegedly became disgusted by what he was told and reported it to leaders in an official complaint in the region where the priest served.
When they made it clear that they were stonewalling him, the man took his report to the media where he exposed all of the correspondences between himself and the priest, who told him that he regularly participated in all-male orgies, sex with other male religious leaders, and with several Swiss guards at the Vatican. An archbishop took action when the allegations were publicized and the whoremongering priest was removed from his office for behavior “incompatible with the priestly ministry” after they corroborated the young man’s evidence. It seems such behavior happens too often among them for this to be “incompatible” with their priesthood, in my opinion.
In the other case in southern Italy, a priest allegedly caught up in a torrid affair with a female parishioner of his, may have ended up murdering her. Their affair, according to some reports, even resulted in them having a child. The 50-year-old woman, Guerrina Piscaglia, went missing in the Tuscany area last year. But the bones of a female were recently discovered on the property of an “ancient mountain chapel.” Tests are now being run on the remains, but experts believe they are the bones of Guerrina Piscaglia.
It’s unclear if the priest, Father Alabi, actually has an alibi. Nevertheless, he vehemently denies having an affair or a child or anything to do with any murder.
