Study capsizes evolution predictions re: apes, humans

For eons, Darwinists have told us the closest ape relatives to humans are chimps, based on their evolutionary predictions. Chimpanzees are supposed to be the most evolved apes who have most of the same genetic makeup as humans. However, a recent study upends those presuppositions.

The study was done on the epigenetics of apes in comparison to humans. Epigenetics is the study of how the manifestation of hereditary traits are changed by environmental influences or other ways without changing DNA sequences. DNA is very similar everywhere in the human body, but how the genes are physically expressed differ according to the type of cell or tissue when influenced by these gene regulators.

Researchers observed the most similar chromosomal areas among humans, chimps, gorillas, and orangutans. This led them to identify and focus on 16 chromosomal regions and their DNA methylation patterns. DNA methylation is the chemical reaction in DNA that adds a methyl group to change how DNA is expressed.

Long story short, these DNA methylation patterns showed that the “least evolved” apes–the orangutans–had more in common with humans than chimps or gorillas, which totally capsizes evolutionists’ predictions. Furthermore, the study also shows, like other studies before it, that the epigenetic and genetic gap between humans and apes is so wide that it’s highly unlikely humans had a common ancestor with apes.

But the researchers of the study will probably never admit this since these results take us back to square 1, which is also book 1 of the Bible and its accurate account of creation telling us all the different families of organisms were designed by one designer who created each organism separately.
