Maryland woman miraculously survives crash

Last week, 22-year-old Morgan Lake was driving on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in Maryland when an 18-wheeler truck rear-ended her 2007 Chrysler Sebring and sent her plunging into the water 40 feet below. She said her car filled quickly with water and she felt herself drowning. The thought of not wanting to die overtook her mind as she freed herself of the seat belt and squeezed through a broken window, swimming to the surface.

Lake thanks God for saving her and escaped the accident with just a sprained ankle and a few minor scrapes.

    1. Of course, Myron. Circumstances like this make peopl stronger and more thankful. We live in a fallen imperfect world where bad stuff happens, but God promised to be with his people even in the midst of bad stuff. I know people who hate God love to focus on the negative but for her to survive this is phenomenal and the positives from this far outshine the negative.
